7. Museum
K.P. Jaisawal Archaeological Museum of the Dept. is the only College Museum in Bihar. Ested in 1947, Renovation in March 2000. Pala Stone Sculptures, Terracotta’s, Seals  , Sealing coins and other antiquities having flavuor of regional identification are preserved here. Supported with 1 staff.

Dharaohar (published by associated NGO) to spread awareness in the field of Identification & Protection ofg antiquities.

Regular camps at various Tourist & Archaeological sites of the region with active participation of the students of the Dept. to spread awareness and protect the heritage of the region.

     
10. Excavation
At, Birpur, Begusarai by the permission of Archaeological Survey of India, New Delhi. Our Dept. has the honour to become the first College Dept. of Bihar to get such opportunity.

12. Seminar & Workshop
Active participation in the Archaeological Sites Documentation Programme of K.P.J.R.I. Patna for Begusarai and Khagaria districts under coordinationship of Dr. S.K.Sinha and Research Investigation of Research Scholars of the Dept.
     
13. Research & Field works
Extensive survey and exploration work with Kashi Prasad Jaisawal Research Institute, Patna under the Documentation of Archeological sites of Bihar campaign of the Institute.

Minor Research Project of UGC, 2012-13 under the Topic "Study of the Archaeological Sites alongwith the distributaries of the Ganges in Begusarai district.

15. Teaching Aid
  1. Workshop for Intensive learning in different concerned topics at regular interval.
  2. Classes of Museology are regularly held in the Museum for live demonstration and better perception.
  3. By downloading latest important informations from Internet disseminated to the students.
  4. Charts & Maps are used as important devices for scientifice analysis of the problem involved.
  5. Student participation in Exploration and Excavation work : Enthusiastically increasing participation of the students in on going Exploration, Excavation work.
  6. Periodic Seminars : Departmentally organised on diverse topics related to the syllabus of the UG & PG courses.
     
16. Counselling Dept. of AIH, Culture & Archaeology extends counselling facilities to students & various organisation.
     
17. Other Achievements Recently selected as a documentation centre for National Mission of Monuments and Antiquities by Arhaeological Survay of India(Govt. of India)
